Day 11: NaPoWriMo 2013 – Playing In Precipitation

rain This poem was written as a Tanka for Day 11 of NaPoWriMo. I tried to make generous use of alliteration, just because I thought it would be fun.

Playing in Precipitation

Pitter patter in
Profuse precipitation.
Puddles promulgate.
Playfully persist
In prancing and parading.

  1. That’s quite intricately worded. Bellissimo!!

It is fun and very clever…. hey, I’ve found another word slinger.

Thanks! I’m not sure it’s clever as some of the words I’ve seen you sling, but it was fun to write. Now, don’t tell my kids about this one or they’ll think that it’s OK to play in the mud, as long as they make it sound good.
