Words Emerged

Pure legend,
In my own mind.
A little lie,
I’ve never reigned.

A little wine,
From time to time.
Moderation,
Is my guideline.

A pedigree,
Perhaps that’s dull,
But wile and wit,
With which to lull.

Pure heart
To pull a smile from you.
Perhaps I’ve weeped,
A time or too.

For love ones
Near and dear to me
Illumine life
For me constantly.

rainI used an anagram generator to make a word list from my own name, for a poem (loosely) about me.  Admittedly, I didn’t use the words I didn’t like, like “uglier” and “millipede”.  But I found some good ones and used at least one in every rhyming couplet.
