Nature’s Delight

Treasure full of gold
Awaiting nature’s delight
In plain white wrapper

Warm Changings

Isolationist
Warming transfiguration
Flocking to the nest

Broken

Armor freshly cracked
Exposed as never before
Scrambled emotions

Haiku Heights #248 had a pretty hard prompt for me, this time.  Eggs are such a basic thing that I worked a bit to find alternate meanings.  I love taking unexpected directions and allowing a second meaning to form.  I hope I achieved that with some of these.

Please forgive the mixture of senryu and haiku.  Broken is firmly in the senryu camp.  I’m not sure how I did with season words on the other two, but they are firmly planted in nature (note: you’re not supposed to plant eggs – though I’ve never tried.)
