Natural Dreams

Zen filled words from the pages of Kyoshi Takahama are the inspiration for this haiku.

A picture about the spring.Natural Dreams

With drooping eyelids
Spring blossoms and gentle winds
Caressing my soul

Dreams of spring are second only to actually going out to enjoy it. I really love all four seasons, which makes it easy to write about. Though in this case, I mimic Kyoshi Takahama’s “Shutting My Eyes” haiku as a response to a writing prompt from Carpe Diem.

  1. It seems to me that you are really starting to enjoy composing haiku. They become stronger day by day … and that makes me so happy to see that there are such talented haiku-poets. Thank you Gene for being a participant at Carpe Diem.
