I don’t often think of nature as being emotional, but it really can stir them.

Moonlight over Ischia

Moonlight reflecting
A kiss of heavenly lips
Setting on water

Sensual touches
So warm, like a lovers breath
As wind dimples skin

Eyes close in delight
Summer heat intensifies –
Affectionate nights

These haiku reflect on a lovely summer night, with a warm breeze and the moon setting over water.  The group was written for the Carpe Diem prompt #238, Affection.
