Your coffin awaits
This haiku was written for a challenge for Trifecta. I married it to a cool image I found on Flikr, by Mr. Stephen Bowler. It’s an awesome photo and I love how the two come together to form this Haiga.
I like this poem because it has two entirely different meanings. With the photo, I see the deadly assassin waiting for its prey. But with only the words, I have that reminder that we are all mortals and must live our lives accordingly. Which form do you like better?
