Hugs :)

Words softly spoken
You feel when you close your eyes
My loving embrace

Art of the haijin
Emotional tapestry
Weaves thought and feeling

A poetic love
Caressing hearts, far and wide
Words softly spoken

When I saw that Maggie Grace was the source of a recent Carpe Diem inspiration, I couldn’t resist. This prompt is all about the embrace of haiku poets (haijin), around the world. I’m glad to count myself among their number, and hope that my humble words bring happiness and occasional smiles.
