The memory of an endearing one lingers on. It’s always someone close to the heart. Nicely Gene!
Oh yes! My father smoked cigars and , for me, the smell of cigar smoke always brings his memory to my mind!
I came up with a same kind of reference to a after shave, nicely written haiku.
I love when my those memories are triggered…
Yes, certain scents remind me of those long gone.
Scents carry so many memories…
