Tan Renga Challenge: Halloween

Scarecrow in Battle

Halloween night —
the fisherman
dressed as a scarecrow

Takes to the dark in his boat
haunting the fields of the sea

A Tan Renga is a collaborative two stanza poem. I found the first stanza in a Carpe Diem prompt written by Garry Gay. The second stanza (in green) is all mine. I think I could easily become addicted to this kind of collaborative poetry.
