Missing a Wife

Possibly Slender Bamboo Grass

missing a wife
the bamboo grass dives under –
waits for warm returns

This challenge was to complete a partially written haiku from Carpe Diem.

The first two lines were from Basho. I added the third line for this collaborative effort.

  1. Your response is excellent all I can do is kill the wife with those lines 🙂

  2. Nicely done Gene. I like this completed haiku … Basho would enjoy it too I think.
